AUDITION NOTICE
Date & Time: Thursday, August 8th at 5:00 PM
Location: Knox Performance Centre
We invite regional dance artists to audition for our upcoming season! Please bring comfortable clothing, a completed CV, headshot, and completed the application form prior to your audition.
Company classes take place on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 PM at various locations. Additional rehearsals, workshops, and classes may also be required.

For those auditioning as an Emerging artist, please let us know prior to July 9th. Your application does not need to be completed but we there are additional details we will need to confirm***

***Those looking to audition are strongly encouraged to attend The Haven Summer Intensive in order to gain a thorough understanding of the commitment and rigour of Method programming.
New this year!
Method Dance Society actively seeks to break down harmful hierarchies and working patterns in dance. Regardless of position, all members of Method Dance Society are considered collaborators, valued equally and treated with the utmost respect.
Established Artist
Established dance artists with at least 2 years of post-secondary dance training or equivalent experience.
Required to attend all company classes or equivalent, and participate in all performances and tours.
Opportunities to develop and showcase creative works.
Emerging Artist
Emerging dance artists with some professional dance experience, interested in mentorship and training (pre-application needed, please contact).
Expected to attend all company classes and participate in all performances and tours.

Apprenticeship (18+)
Emerging dance artists with little to no professional dance experience.
Required to attend all company classes and will be given both performance and understudy roles.
Openings: 2-4
Youth Apprenticeship (16+)
For younger dance artists interested in pursuing a professional career in contemporary dance.
Invited to participate in weekly professional training classes and observe rehearsals when available.
